Flossmoor Station Restaurant

Came here for lunch and really liked the atmosphere and the food. Oh, also the beer. Highly recommend this super cute spot.

This is a really nice place. It's tucked out of the way and fits in great in the historic downtown area. Very friendly staff, and a really relaxed ambience. I ordered the rail splitting pasta, with chicken, which was splendid. The portion was large, and they weren't skimpy with the chicken. I didn't think about it until it was too late, but there is a patio area, which would have been great to have my meal...something I'll have to try when a friend comes in from out of town to visit next month. It's a real laid back spot. There are a few things on the menu I'm looking forward to trying. I'd recommend this spot. Parking might be tricky during peak hours. That said even if you had to walk a block or two, the look of the area makes it worth it.
